Hope the Fence
"Hop the Fence" starts of like a normal throw. It takes a lot of practice to do multiple "Hop the Fences" in succession. Like "Reach for the Moon" and "Loop the Loop", "Hop the Fence" has subtleties that can't be shown with diagrams. Visit Shawn's Looping Guide to read and learn about more.




Make a muscle with your arms and bring your hand up to shoulder level in front of you.




Begin the throw down.




Open up the hand to allow the yo-yo to roll off.






As the yo-yo makes its descent, turn the hand over.




Once it reaches the end of the string, it'll make it's way back up.




Instead of catching it, flip it back down.




Again, once it reaches the end, the yo-yo will come back up. Either catch it in the and or do more repetitions of "Hop the Fence."
